Ladli Laxmi Diwas to be celebrated at State, District, Block, Gram Panchayat level

Bhopal 08 December 2021: The Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that orphan girls should be added to the Ladli Laxmi Yojana. The Chief Minister, Chouhan was reviewing the Ladli Laxmi Yojana 2.0 of the Department of Women and Child Development in the Ministry. The Chief Minister, Chouhan said that Ladli Laxmi Diwas should be organized at the state, district, block, gram panchayat level.

The Chief Minister, Chouhan directed the officials to fix the criteria for declaring Gram Panchayats and Villages as Ladli Laxmi Friendly. He said driving licences should be issued to 18 year old Ladli Lakshmi.

The Chief Minister, Chouhan said that the state government will bear the cost of education for admission of darling girls to government-non-government medical, engineering, IITs and IIMs. He said that if the ladli girl enters the college, she will be given 25,000 rupees.
