Bhopal 18 December 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that better measures should be taken to prevent the increase in the cases of Corona. There are no cases of Omicron in Madhya Pradesh yet, but looking at the situation in other states, be fully prepared to deal with the possible third wave of corona in the state, so that there is no danger of the wave coming. In the first dose of vaccination in the state, less than 90 percent people have been vaccinated in 9 districts. The officers in-charge of these districts should pay attention to increase the percentage of vaccination. At present, the number of beds in hospitals has increased compared to the second wave of Corona. Private hospitals should also be selected for increasing the number of beds and for Covid treatment. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the Corona control and arrangements in Mantralaya today. Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang and Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and other senior officers were present.

Make an action plan for each district

Chief Minister Chouhan said that for the treatment of Covid, make an action plan for every district, so that the patients can be treated there. District wise bed mapping should be done in government and private hospitals. Remove the shortcomings of the oxygen plant, so that the availability of sufficient oxygen remains. Adequate stock of medicines and essential materials are available in every district for one month. Under the Mukhyamantri Covid Upchar Yojana, the contract of empanelled hospitals will be extended from January 1 to March 31, 2022.

In-charge ministers should hold preparatory meetings in the districts

Chief Minister Chouhan said that a large number of corona cases are increasing in Britain. Similarly, cases of corona are increasing continuously in other countries and some states of India as well. This is the right time for us to be careful. All arrangements should be fine. All the in-charge ministers and officers-in-charge should hold preparatory meetings in their respective districts. Hold meetings with Crisis Management Committee. Keep an eye on every arrangement. Collectors should coordinate.

We can't take any risk

Chief Minister Chouhan said that in view of the increasing cases of Corona, we cannot take any risk in the state. I don't want to repeat the loss we suffered last time. People should not crowd unnecessarily, apply masks and take all other precautions to prevent corona. Chief Minister Chouhan said that we should be ready for every situation. People should be constantly motivated to get corona test done – Window to News
