Sushri Anjana has hoisted the tricolour on Mount Yunam Peak, Friendship Peak and Patalsu Peak
Bhopal 19 December 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted a sapling of Karanj along with former Minister Rajendra Shukla in Smart Garden. Chief Minister Chouhan also planted Gulmohar sapling along with famous mountaineer and sportsperson Sushri Anjana Yadav.The Chief Minister Chouhan plants saplings every day as per his resolve. The Chief Minister Chouhan is constantly appealing and making efforts to make tree plantation a people's movement. Sushri Anjana has won five national medals in sports like Kabaddi, Base Ball, Hand Ball, Soft Ball, Circle Kabaddi and Kho-Kho etc.
Sushri Anjana is originally from Diwanganj in Raisen district. She is currently pursuing her B Tech from TIT Institute. Sushri Anjana has hoisted the tricolour on Mount Yunam Peak at 20 thousand feet, Friendship Peak at 16 thousand 345 feet and Patalsu Peak at 14 thousand feet. Sushri Anjana plans to hoist the tricolour at Kilimanjaro in Africa and Elbros Peak in Europe. Sushri Anjana is also planning to hoist the tricolour on Mount Everest in 2023. Her sister Sushri Priya Yadav was also with her at the time of plantation.
Karanj plant is considered important in Ayurvedic therapy. Karanj plant is also used in religious works. Gulmohar is considered one of the most beautiful trees in the world. Flowers blooming in big bunches between the leaves of Gulmohar give a distinct attraction to this tree. In summer, instead of leaves, Gulmohar trees are laden with flowers.
