Bhopal 22 December 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings of Kachnar and Gulmohar along with members of Book Wala Sanstha Amitesh Mishra, Chandan Mishra and Sushri Sonali Pandey and public representative of Nimar region Harsh Singh in Smart Garden today.
Book Wala Sanstha is working in the field of education for the last three years. The organisation is trying to make books available to the needy children by establishing coordination between the children who are unable to buy books and their guardians and the capable guardians who sell their children's books in the trash. So far, the organisation has provided free books to more than 60 guardians.
The work of providing books to many students has been done by the organisation even during the time of Covid-19. Chief Minister Chouhan has appreciated this important effort being made by the members of the organisation.
Among the saplings planted today, Gulmohar is considered one of the most beautiful trees in the world. Flowers blooming in big bunches among the leaves of Gulmohar give a distinct attraction to this tree. In summer, Gulmohar trees are laden with flowers instead of leaves. It is also rich in medicinal properties.
Kachnar is a beautiful flowering tree. Its small and medium height trees are found all over India. Nature has made many trees and plants full of medicinal properties, among them Kachnar is one.
