Chief Minister Chouhan addresses meeting of NITI Aayog
Bhopal 24 December 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that no stone will be left unturned to take the state forward on the path of development. Madhya Pradesh will have full contribution in the mantra of Atmanirbhar Bharat given by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. By following the suggestions of NITI Aayog, we will not leave any stone unturned to make the state a leading state in the country. New dimensions will be established in the state with the cooperation of NITI Aayog in various fields including the field of electronic manufacturing. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the meeting of NITI Aayog at Mantralaya today.
Madhya Pradesh lauded
The Madhya Pradesh government was appreciated by the NITI Aayog for creating the roadmap for Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh during the Corona period. Similarly, Madhya Pradesh’s good work in other fields including agriculture was also appreciated.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that a holistic view would be taken to ensure that the farmers get the right price for the production of their crops. We have implemented Bhavantar Bhugtan Yojana to get fair price for the crops to the farmers. This helped improve the economic condition of the farmers. There has also been substantial rise in the production of milk in the state. Madhya Pradesh has made a lot of progress in irrigation and drinking water schemes. Chief Minister Chouhan said that new water sources would be developed in villages which do not have sources of ground water. Cleanliness facilities have increased in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan said that continuous work is going on in the state under Govardhan Yojana. From this, the work of making CNG gas is also going on. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the irrigation potential has increased significantly.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is immense potential in the field of forests in Madhya Pradesh. There is still a lot of work to be done in infrastructure logistics. Chief Minister Chouhan said that along with aspirational districts, it has also been decided to make aspirational development blocks in the state.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that NITI Aayog has given us all possible support. The strength of the country lies in the states. According to the intention of the Prime Minister, the states will have to do better implementation. During the Covid period, the Prime Minister gave the mantra of self-reliant India. Since then we have decided to build a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the budget of the state has been prepared keeping the goals in mind.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that NITI Aayog has informed us about where we are. Based on this we will move forward. Where improvement is needed, there will be improvement. Will increase the export of agricultural products of the state. Will boost the quality of products. Will make improvement in the systems. Will make up for the gaps. Will take the plans forward. Will communicate as needed. We will work together to build a prosperous, glorious and powerful India.
The members of NITI Aayog made presentations focused on various schemes. The members said that the growth rate in Madhya Pradesh has been good. A lot of work has been done in the field of agriculture. It is necessary to increase the income of the farmers to take the state forward. It is also necessary to promote animal husbandry, forestry, bamboo cultivation. There is a need to increase the production of pulses.
