Madhya Pradesh will work on priority for respectable representation and socio-economic development of backward classes: Chief Minister Chouhan

Bhopal 24 December 2021: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Madhya Pradesh government is taking all steps seriously and on priority for the socio-economic development including respectful representation of backward classes. According to the arrangement of the Supreme Court in the state, necessary action is also being taken in a planned manner. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the chairman, members and office bearers of Madhya Pradesh Backward Commission who came to meet him at Mantralaya today.

During this, a meeting was also held in the context of the previous Supreme Court decision, in which the initiatives taken in the state, specially for the observance of the triple test, were discussed. It was decided that in Madhya Pradesh this work would be completed with authenticity within a time-limit.
In the meeting, the actual population of backward classes in the triple test along with functions and procedures related to the study of their socio-economic status and representation being given to them was discussed.

Those who met Chief Minister Chouhan included Chairman of the Commission Gaurishankar Bisen, Minister of State for Backward Classes Welfare Ram Khelawan Patel, Member of the Commission Pradeep Patel.

Senior officials including Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Secretary Chief Minister M Selvendran and Commissioner Public Relations Dr. Sudam Khade were present in the meeting – Window to News
