Bhopal 29 December 2021: Today, on December 29, a new record has been set again in the vaccination programme being run to prevent Corona in Madhya Pradesh. Out of the total eligible citizens, second dose of vaccines have been successfully administered to 5 crore people. So far 10 crore 20 lakh 92 thousand 641 vaccine doses have been administered. In this, 5 crore 20 lakh 77 thousand 158 citizens have received the first dose of vaccine and 5 crore 15 thousand, 483 citizens have received both doses of vaccine. Madhya Pradesh is first in the country in administering the second dose of the vaccine.
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has also appreciated the interest being taken by the people of the state in the vaccination work and thanking them for their alertness. Chief Minister Chouhan has said that in order to protect the state from Corona, it is very important to take all necessary precautions and get vaccinated. A series of immunization campaigns were conducted with public participation to ensure that the target group gets 100 percent vaccine, as a result of which Madhya Pradesh has also made many records in vaccination.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that today we have become number one in the country in administering the second dose of the vaccine. This achievement has been made possible with the cooperation of the people. In this, public representatives including district in-charge ministers, officers, medical staff, social organizations, social workers, religious leaders, corona volunteers, media colleagues have played an important role. Chief Minister Chouhan said that with the combined efforts of the people of the state and everyone, we would be able to administer both the doses of the vaccine to the target group very soon – Window to News
