Bhopal 08 January 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the cases of corona are increasing at unexpected rate in the state. There has been increasement of about 12 times in a week. Yesterday only 74 thousand tests were done in the state, out of which 1577 cases have come positive. In view of this situation, there is a need to take full care against corona infection. Compliance of prohibitory instructions should be ensured in all districts.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the corona control and treatment arrangements in Mantralaya on Saturday. Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman and officials were present. Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary virtually attended.
Do vaccination of children at fast pace
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the vaccination of 15 to 18 year old children should be speeded up. The officer in charge should monitor it. Chief Minister Chouhan reviewed the district-wise vaccination work and the vaccination of citizens who were left out of immunization should be ensured. Chief Minister Chouhan directed to speed up the pace of vaccination in Sheopur, Barwani, Gwalior and other districts. He said that cent percent vaccination of children of targeted group should be completed by January 15.
Prepare according to the trend of the district
Chief Minister Chouhan said that all the officers-in-charge should make all necessary arrangements according to the corona trend in the district, so that arrangements for treatment can be ensured in time. The officer-in-charge should be in constant contact with the district administration in the districts of his charge and provide facilities as per the need. Chief Minister Chouhan said that review will be done again on Monday. Chief Minister Chouhan welcomed the Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar present in the meeting.
Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman gave a presentation. He told that more than 70 thousand corona tests are being done daily in the state. Necessary arrangements are being made in the hospitals for beds, medicines and also in the Covid Care Centres.
