Bhopal 11 January 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that efforts will be made to make Tribal Museum world-class. Tourists may come to the museum and stop and see, make such arrangements. Similarly, to revive the Manav Sangrahalaya and to promote tourism, prepare and send a proposal for the stay of tourists there.
Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing the activities of the Culture Department in Mantralaya today. Tourism and Culture Minister Sushri Usha Thakur, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, Principal Secretary Sheo Shekhar Shukla and other senior officers were present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that new museums should be made useful, which the new generation can see, know and understand. Tourists may be attracted to visit and feel thrilled. Make old museums also interesting and inspiring, so that people will be attracted. They can be made beautiful by adopting innovation. Let the new museums be attractive and exciting.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work of establishing the statue of Acharya Shankaracharya and laser-show in Omkareshwar would be completed in the first phase. The establishment of Vedanta Peeth will be wonderful in the country and the world. Review this work every week.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that work should be done to promote tourism in Salkanpur temple also. Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is a unique antique wealth in the state. Proving its importance, a tourist circuit should be made. Keeping the original form of Lal Bagh Palace in Indore intact, it should be developed as Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium (Minto Hall). Chief Minister Chouhan released a book "Mahadev" focusing on the meaning of Shiva statues and a brochure on Paramveer Chakra winners.
It was informed in the meeting that the major activities of Madhya Pradesh are parallelly available on the website of Government of India for 'Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav'. The work of construction of museums based on the special backward tribes of Madhya Pradesh is also proposed. In this, through the Department of Tribal Affairs, a museum of Bharia tribe is expected to be built in Chhindwara, Baiga's in Dindori and of the Sahariya tribe in Sheopur.
In the meeting, the establishment of Ram Rajya Art Gallery in Ramraja Sarkar Temple premises, execution of activities prescribed in the annual Kala Panchang, display of tribal Ramlilas, documentation and conservation of painted rock shelters of Madhya Pradesh, restructuring of temples of Ashapuri temple group, etc. were also discussed in the meeting. – Window to News
