Women will have their own foodgrain shop in Sagoria Ka Pura

Bhopal 24 January 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today visited Sagoria Ka Pura village in Morena district to visit the house constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The beneficiary Banwari Lal Giri told the Chief Minister that he had received Rs.1 lakh 50 thousand for the construction of the house. Chief Minister Chouhan enquired from the beneficiary and his family whether they had to pay any money to avail the benefits of the scheme. The beneficiary said that with a Chief Minister like you, who could dare to ask for money. Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated the beneficiary for the housing. Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and State Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Bharat Singh Kushwaha were also present.

Chief Minister Chouhan spoke to the local villagers and heard their problems. The Chief Minister said that food grains should be easily available to the villagers in Sagoria Ka Pura. For this a foodgrain shop will be opened in the village. This shop will be run by a local women self-help group. With the opening of the shop, people will not have to travel 8 kms.

CM interacts with Ladli Laxmi's

Chief Minister Chouhan also interacted with the beneficiaries of Ladli Laxmi Yojana present here. The Chief Minister asked them what they wanted to become. They said that they wanted to become IAS and IPS officers. Chief Minister Chouhan said that if you study hard and diligently, you will definitely get success. On the occasion of National Girl Child Day today, the Chief Minister distributed sweets to the girls. Stuti Sharma was given a scholarship of Rs 12 thousand while Unnati Sharma and Ritu Dhakad received a scholarship of Rs 6 thousand each.
On the demand of the villagers, Chief Minister Chouhan announced the construction of a culvert at Sagoria Ka Pura. He instructed the collector to make an estimate of construction of a culvert soon.

CM has lunch at the house of Santoshi Lal Dhakad

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar, State Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Horticulture Processing, Bharat Singh Kushwaha along with public representatives had lunch at the house of former Sarpanch Santoshi Lal Dhakad – Window to News
