Bhopal 26 January 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas are the basic mantras of Madhya Pradesh in the 21st century. He has called upon the citizens to take a pledge to make Madhya Pradesh a self-reliant, prosperous and developed state with the participation of people and system on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day. He paid floral tribute to those who laid down their lives for the freedom and sovereignty of the country.
Governor Patel was addressing the people of the state at the Republic Day celebrations organised at Lal Parade Ground today.
Expressed gratitude to the Prime Minister
Governor Patel while expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on behalf of the people of the state said that our visionary Prime Minister Modi, who resides in the heart of the people of the country, had sensed the challenge of corona epidemic from the very beginning. Two years ago, when the whole world was clouded by fear, apprehension and despair due to the Corona crisis, he had formed a task force to develop the vaccine in India itself. Gave the slogan "Dawai Bhi-Kadai Bhi". It was the result of his right decision taken at the right time, leadership and motivational ability that the scientists of the country developed the vaccine against corona in the shortest possible time. So far, more than 162 crore doses of vaccine have been administered across the country. He said that it is the result of the extraordinary foresight of Prime Minister Modi that due to free quick vaccination, only 2 percent of the infected patients require hospitalization during the third wave of corona. Patients are recovering at home. He said that the state's public-participation model of corona control has been appreciated across the country. The state also became a leader in vaccination. The government has also made elaborate arrangements to control the third wave of Covid.
Record of Gross Domestic Product will be set
Governor Patel has said that this year the state's Gross Domestic Product is likely to exceed Rs 10 lakh crore, which will be a new chapter in the history of the state. The Central Government has honoured Balaghat district with the first prize for fisheries. More than 20 thousand beneficiaries have been benefitted this year under the Pradhan Mantri Matsya Sampada Yojana.
8 thousand 412 villages connected with perennial contacts
Governor Patel informed that the Central Government has approved Rs 44 thousand 605 crore for Ken-Betwa link project and Atal Pragati-Path. Madhya Pradesh Building Development Corporation is being formed to speed up the construction of buildings. In this financial year, 2 thousand 707 kilometer length roads, 133 bridges have been constructed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojna and 8 thousand 412 villages have been connected with all-weather single connectivity so far under Mukhyamantri Gram Sadak Yojna
State first in the country in Agriculture Infrastructure Fund scheme
Governor Patel informed that the State is first in the country in the implementation of Agriculture Infrastructure Fund Scheme. Under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, an amount of Rs 5 thousand 191 crore has been distributed to 83 lakh 45 thousand farmers of the state in this financial year.
Tendupatta collectors were added to the Sambal scheme
Governor Patel has said that in the year 2021, collection remuneration of Rs 415 crore and bonus amount of Rs 191 crore has been paid by connecting tendu patta collectors in Sambal Yojana. This year more than one lakh 31 thousand workers have got benefits worth more than one tho – Window to News
