Bhopal 30 January 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has appealed to the villagers that everyone should sit in the village one day and prepare a master plan for the village in order to make Madhya Pradesh an ideal state. The state government will make development plans accordingly. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing a dedication and Bhoomi-Poojan programme of various development works worth Rs.36 crore 21 lakh at Shahganj in Sehore district on Sunday. The Chief Minister also transferred the first installment amount of Rs.7 crore 97 lakh to the accounts of 797 beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Also distributed benefits under various beneficiary oriented schemes.

Praising the development works done in Shahganj, Chief Minister Chouhan said that it is his intention that such systematic development should take place in every area of ​​the state. The Chief Minister announced to make the road from Khategaon to Bari a National Highway, a new road from Bamori to Shahganj connecting about a dozen villages and to increase the number of beds in Shahganj Hospital. The Chief Minister called upon the villagers to make their village clean and make Shahganj Nagar Parishad the cleanest Nagar Panchayat in the country.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that everyone would be given the ownership rights of their houses by conducting a survey under the Swamitva Yojana. On the basis of housing plus survey also pucca houses will be given to all. The Chief Minister said that not only the development but education and employment are also in the priority of the government. He said that now a large number of jobs would be provided in the state under Pradhan Mantri Swanidhi Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Mukhyamantri Udyam Kranti Yojana, Street Vendor Scheme and Rural Livelihood Mission by organising employment fairs every month. Chief Minister Chouhan appealed to the public representatives to bring forward meritorious children so that no child from poor family is deprived of higher education.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government is with the farmers in every misery and pain. The distribution of crop insurance amount will be started from next month to the farmers affected by excessive rain and hailstorm.
