Chief Minister Chouhan reacts to the Union Budget for the year 2022-23
Bhopal 01 February 2022: Thanks to PM Modi for presenting the budget for building a new India – CM Chouhan developed India will give impetus to infrastructure development. For infrastructure development, 35 percent amount has been increased in the budget. This will create employment opportunities along with infrastructure development.
Arrangements have also been made to provide more funds to the states in the budget. This amount will be used in the infrastructure development of the states, due to which employment opportunities will be created in the states as well. Chief Minister Chouhan gave his response to the media after listening to the budget for the year 2022-23 presented in Parliament by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman at his residence.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh has got a big gift in the budget. In the river interlinking project, an amount of more than Rs 44 thousand crores will be spent on the Ken-Betwa link project. This will give a new look to Bundelkhand.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that this is a budget to double the income of farmers. Necessary provisions have been made in the budget to connect agriculture with technology. By making agriculture hi-tech, the way has been paved for providing its benefits to the farmer. Natural farming will improve the health of the general public and it will also improve the health of the earth.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that this is a common man’s budget, in which efforts have been made to bring prosperity in the lives of poor, low and middle class families. There is sufficient provision in the budget to implement the new education policy. Necessary arrangements have also been made to improve the health infrastructure in the country after the Covid period.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that the Union Budget for the year 2022-23 is for women empowerment, employment to youth, welfare of poor and farmers and building a powerful India, in which adequate provision has been made for the security of the country. Defense budget has been increased by 25%. Adequate resources have been made available in the budget for the direction in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to take the country on the occasion of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Chief Minister Chouhan congratulated the Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman for the budget.
Chief Minister Chouhan has tweeted that – ‘In one sentence, this historic budget is, ‘Totally inclusive, that will bring a positive change in the life of every Indian.’ Chief Minister Chouhan has thanked Prime Minister Modi for giving approval for the Ken-Betwa link project and tweeted that- “This project will boost facilities of drinking water, irrigation, electricity supply in the drought-affected districts of Bundelkhand, besides employment, industrialization and investment.” Chief Minister Chouhan has tweeted in relation to the budget that- “Under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi everyone will get the opportunity for progress in a progressive India.
