Cricket Association for the Blind MP Expresses Gratitude to CM Chouhan

Bhopal 04 February 2022: The representatives of Cricket Association for the Blind MP presented a cricket bat to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his residence office today as a mark of respect and gratitude. It is noteworthy that the India-Bangladesh International Blind Cricket Match was organised by the Association in Bhopal last month. The association expressed gratitude to Chief Minister Chouhan for the cooperation and support extended by the state government in organising the international match.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the efforts of the Association are like making the impossible possible. He said that blind cricket is played with a ball that produces sound. It is a pleasant surprise to see blind players bowling, fielding and batting on a sounding ball.

The President of the Association Dr. Raghavendra Sharma and international blind cricketer Sonu Golkar informed Chief Minister Chouhan about the World Cup to be held in the country in November and the blind women's cricket being started by the organization – Window to News
