Claim amount of PM Fasal Bima Yojana become Sanjivani for farmers
State creates record by distributing the largest assistance amount of crop damage
 
Bhopal 15 February 2022 : Agriculture sector plays an important role in the making of Atmanirbhar Madhya Pradesh. The efforts of the state government include increasing agricultural production, reducing the cost of production, providing fair prices for agricultural produce, and providing adequate compensation to the farmer in case of loss of produce due to natural calamities or other conditions. Due to these efforts, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has created a new record at the national level recently by distributing the largest amount of crop loss assistance in the country under the Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana. In 49 lakh crop damage claims of farmers, assistance amounting to Rs.7618 crore was transferred to their accounts with a single click. This crop insurance amount has become a lifesaver for the affected farmers of the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan has said that I have always been with the farmers of the state in every joy and sorrow and will always continue to be. Farmers will never be allowed to suffer financial loss due to natural calamity or flood, rain, hailstorm, crop crisis. The relief amount will also be deposited in the account of the farmers for the damage caused to the crops due to hailstorm and rain in the past.

Farmer Welfare and Agriculture Development Minister Kamal Patel has said that the government is making continuous efforts to make agriculture a profitable business. Innovations are also being promoted by the government to benefit the farmers. All possible efforts will be made for the economic empowerment of farmers under the leadership and guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.

Claims and amount disbursed division wise

Out of 10 lakh 62 thousand 574 claims in 5 districts of Bhopal division, Rs 2 thousand 58 crore 31 lakh has been paid. In this, Rs 152 crore 02 lakh has been distribute in 80 thousand 167 insurance claims in Bhopal district, Rs 761 crore 23 lakh in 2 lakh 82 thousand 520 claims in Sehore, Rs 269 crore 80 lakh in one lakh 48 thousand 072 claims in Raisen, Rs 493 crore 99 lakh in 2 lakh 56 thousand 273 claims in Vidisha, and crop insurance amount of Rs 381 crore 27 lakh was distributed in 2 lakh 95 thousand 542 claims in Rajgarh.

In Gwalior, Datia, Shivpuri, Guna and Ashoknagar districts of Gwalior division, an amount of Rs 218 crore 41 lakh was distributed in 2 lakh 37 thousand 499 claims of crop insurance. In this, Rs one crore 19 lakh was distributed in 1645 claims in Gwalior, Rs 20 crore 80 lakh in 32 thousand 605 claims in Datia, Rs 40 crore 56 lakh in 57 thousand 881 claims in Shivpuri, Rs 87 crore 73 lakh in 80 thousand 822 claims in Guna and an amount of Rs 68 crore 13 lakh was distributed in 64 thousand 546 crop insurance claims of Ashoknagar district.

In 8 districts of Indore division, out of 7 lakh 67 thousand 582 insurance claims, an amount of Rs 922 crore 84 lakh was transferred to the accounts of farmers. In this, Rs 380 crore 54 lakh in one lakh 86 thousand 812 insurance claims in Indore, Rs 20 crore 49 lakh in 45 thousand 666 insurance claims in Jhabua, Rs 22 crore 57 lakh in 43 thousand 726 insurance claims in Barwani, Rs 79 crore 79 lakh in one lakh 5 thousand 266 insurance claims in Khargone, Rs 152 crore 9 lakh in one lakh 43 thousand 456 insurance claims in Khandwa, Rs 232 crore 57 lakh was distributed in 2 lakh one thousand 407 insurance claims in Dhar, Rs 5 crore 89 lakh in 5 thousand 470 insurance claims in Burhanpur and Rs 8 crore 90 lakh in 35 thousand 779 insurance claims of Alirajpur.

Out of one lakh 87 thousand 342 insurance claims in 8 districts of Jabalpur division, an amount of Rs 141 crore 91 lakh was transferred to the accounts of farmers. In this, Rs. 8 crore 87 lakh in 11 thousand 86 insurance claims of Jabalpur, Rs. 7 crore 34 lakh in 7 thousand 202 insurance claims in Katni, Rs. 22 crore 37 lakh in 34 thousand 895 insurance claims in Narsinghpur, Rs. 27 crore 33 lakh in 27 thousand 809 insurance claims in Seoni, Rs. 22 crore 63 lakh in 26 thousand 531 insurance claims in Balaghat, Rs. 44 crore 87 lakh in 66 thousand 156 insurance claims in Chhindwara, Rs. 3 crore 45 lakh in 6 thousand 457 insurance claims in Dindori and an amount of Rs 5 crore 5 lakh has been distributed in 7 thousand 206 insurance claims in Mandla.
In 4 districts of Rewa division, Rs 45 crore 92 lakh has been paid in 49 thousand 508 claims. In this, Rs 16 crore 67 lakh crop insurance amount has been given in 14 thousand 540 insurance claims in Rewa district, Rs 22 crore 43 lakh in 29 thousand 568 claims in Satna, Rs one crore 42 lakh in one thousand 297 claims in Singrauli and Rs 5 crore 40 lakh has been distributed in 4 thousand 103 claims in Sidhi.

Out of 3 lakh 729 insurance claims in 6 districts of Sagar division, an amount of Rs 382 crore 3 lakh was transferred to the accounts of farmers. In this, Rs 265 crore 42 lakh in one lakh 73 thousand 682 insurance claims of Sagar, Rs 3 crore 55 lakh in 8 thousand 62 insurance claims in Niwari, Rs 5 crore 27 lakh in 11 thousand 237 insurance claims in Panna, Rs 14 crore 12 lakh in 27 thousand 140 insurance claims in Tikamgarh, Rs 18 crore 62 lakh in 26 thousand 886 insurance claims in Chhatarpur and Rs 75 crore 5 lakh in 53 thousand 722 insurance claims in Damoh.

Out of 19 lakh 22 thousand 528 insurance claims in 7 districts of Ujjain division, an amount of Rs 2867 crore 17 lakh was transferred to the accounts of farmers. In this, Rs 689 crore 46 lakh in 5 lakh 93 thousand 831 insurance claims in Ujjain, Rs 666 crore 69 lakh in 3 lakh 15 thousand 423 insurance claims in Dewas, Rs 156 crore 18 lakh in one lakh 37 thousand 650 insurance claims in Neemuch, Rs 182 crore 56 lakh in one lakh 9 thousand 544 insurance claims in Agar-Malwa, Rs 318 crore 20 lakh in 2 lakh 48 thousand 681 insurance claims in Ratlam, Rs 368 crore 95 lakh in 2 lakh 90 thousand 867 insurance claims in Mandsaur and in Shajapur an amount of Rs 485 crore 13 lakh was distributed in 2 lakh 26 thousand 532 insurance claims.
In 3 districts of Narmadapuram division, in 4 lakh 3 thousand 944 claims, Rs 925 crore 21 lakh has been paid. In this, in Narmadapuram (Hoshangabad) district Rs 273 crore 20 lakh crop insurance amount was distributed in one lakh 49 thousand 614 insurance claims, Rs 345 crore 79 lakh in one lakh 25 thousand 856 claims in Harda and Rs 306 crore 79 lakh in one lakh 28 thousand 474 claims in Betul.

In 3 districts of Chambal division, in 20 thousand 357 claims, 25 crore 37 lakh rupees were paid. In this, Rs 21 crore 76 lakh was distributed in 14 thousand 526 insurance claims in Sheopur district, Rs 2 crore 44 lakh in 4 thousand 346 claims in Morena and Rs one crore 17 lakh in one thousand 485 claims in Bhind.

Crop insurance amounting to 30 crore 93 lakh rupees have been paid in 32 thousand 961 claims in 3 districts of Shahdol division. In this, Rs 7 crore 78 lakh was transferred in 7 thousand 236 insurance claims in Anuppur district, Rs 8 crore 26 lakh in 9 thousand 941 claims in Umaria and Rs 14 crore 89 lakh in 15 thousand 784 claims in Shahdol –Window to News
