Bhopal 16 February 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the Global Skill Park to be built in Bhopal will be named after Saint Shiromani Ravidas Ji Maharaj. Saint Ravidas ji established the importance of labour and the spirit of equality. In Global Skill Park too, youth will be self-dependent after getting training in various disciplines. Here labour will be worshipped and thousands of youths will come to learn. In this institute, youths will be trained in those disciplines, which will give them immediate employment. Naming this park after Saint Shiromani Ravidas ji would be a real tribute to him. Along with this, Saint Ravidas Swa-rozgar Yojana, Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Aarthik Kalyan Yojana and Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati Vishesh Pariyojana Vitta Poshan Yojana will be started to provide employment to the youths. Saint Ravidas community buildings will be constructed in scheduled caste dominated areas of every district of the state. With this, public programmes will be held systematically.

Chief Minister Chouhan virtually attended the state level programme organised at Saint Ravidas Mandir premises, Barkheda Pathani, Bhopal on the occasion of Saint Ravidas Jayanti. Chief Minister Chouhan virtually welcomed the present saints. In the programme the devotional verses of Saint Ravidas were presented. Tribal Affairs, Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Sushri Meena Singh, Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary, Former Minister Lal Singh Arya, MLA Smt. Krishna Gaur, Saint Sarvshree Kishan Das Ji Maharaj, Mangal Das Ji Maharaj, Roopram Ji Maharaj, Sadajap Ji Maharaj and public representatives were present.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that due to suffering from Corona, he is unable to be present at the venue. Saint Ravidas Jayanti programme has been organised at every Gram Panchayat, Janpad Panchayat and district headquarters of the state. Ministers, MPs, MLAs are participating in the programmes. This programme is a matter of our devotion. Ravidas Ji's speech was succinct, unique and influential. He inspired the people for labour, equality and service to the helpless.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is engaged in building a strong, thriving and prosperous India with the goal of “Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas”. The state government is also continuously active in this direction. Saint Ravidas had said, "Aisa chahun raaj mein, jahan mile sabhi ko anna, chhota badha sab sanga rahen, Ravidas rahe prasanna". With the inspiration of Saint Ji, our glorious Prime Minister Modi is working for the welfare of all the sections. In this direction, special initiatives have been taken to provide employment to the scheduled caste youths in the state. Under the Saint Ravidas Swa-rozgar Yojana, a loan assistance of one lakh to 50 lakh will be provided to the scheduled caste youths for setting up a manufacturing unit. Interest subsidy at the rate of 5 percent will be given for the project. Similarly, for service sector and retail trade also, there will be a provision of loan from one lakh to 25 lakh in the scheme. The schemes will be operated through Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Scheduled Caste and Development Corporation.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that under the Mukhyamantri Anusuchit Jati Vishesh Pariyojana Vitta Poshan Yojana, a grant of up to Rs. 2 crore would be given to the youths of the Scheduled Castes for self-employment, skill up-gradation, promotion and innovation. Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Aarthik Kalyan Yojana is being started with the objective of providing loans up to one lakh rupees for low cost equipment or working capital to the micro, small and medium scale industries already established by the beneficiaries of the scheduled caste category. The schemes will be operated through Madhya Pradesh State Cooperative Scheduled Caste and Development Corporation.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Saint Ravidas ji was a great saint. His messages inspire poor-welfare. The great saint, ascetic, labour worshipper, philanthropist and kind saint Ravidas ji was born in India and this country became blessed. Saint Ravidas ji never let anyone go hungry from his door. The state government is also trying to provide food to the poor through Deendayal Rasoi. "No one should go hungry" is our motto. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the activities of Deendayal Rasoi would be expanded in the state. The state government is committed to ensure that every needy gets food and housing.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the State Government will leave no stone unturned in the field of education. Along with education, employment is also needed. The state government will pay the fees of the poor families of the state whose children will get admission in IIM, engineering, medical and higher educational institutions and foreign universities. Chief Minister Chouhan informed that Ujjain's Kumari Sonam Tagore is doing Master of Business Administration from UK. The state government has paid the fee of 45 lakh 71 thousand for this daughter. Similarly, Nidit Pawar of Bhopal is doing Master of International Business Management from UK, whose fee of more than 40 lakhs is being given by the state government. Pushkal Masani of Mhow, Indore is doing Master of Project Management from Australia, whose fee of 55 lakh 48 thousand has been paid by the state government. Students should study, the state government is with them at every step. Chief Minister Chouhan said that every effort would be made to fill backlog posts in government services. Necessary training will also be arranged for the scheduled caste youths for recruitment in the army and police.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is a provision of coaching for girls under literacy promotion scheme and private coaching for civil services examinations. In the Maharishi Valmiki Protsahan Yojna, provision of incentive amount has been made for taking admission in national level institutions after success in the competitive examinations of IIT, NIT, NEET, CLAT, NDA, AIIMS. In 10 Gyanodaya Vidyalayas run in the state, the class 10th result was 100 percent and 98.80 percent students passed in the first division. Similarly, in class 12th also the result was 100 percent and 98.20 percent students passed in first division.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the tradition of saints like Saint Ravidas ji, Guru Nanak ji, Namdev ji removed the distinction of caste, high and low, which protected Sanatan Dharma and Indian culture and carried it forward. Saint Ravidas ji believed in labour, truth and devotion to God. There are many stories of his life's asceticism, sacrifice, penance and public welfare, which are still inspiring man to live a better life. Saint Ravidas gave the message of name, work and service to the society. He said that chant the name of Hari, earn your living by labour and dedicate whatever you get from labour to the service of God and the needy. Chief Minister Chouhan said that we are committed to run the government on the ideals of Saint Ravidas.

Tribal Affairs and Scheduled Castes Welfare Minister Sushri Meena Singh said that Chief Minister Chouhan has taken the initiative to organise Saint Ravidas Jayanti programme in a big way. She said that the Chief Minister is always conscious of protecting the interests of the scheduled classes and is fully committed for the betterment of the scheduled classes.
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary said that earlier also the birth anniversary of Saint Ravidas ji was celebrated, but Chief Minister Chouhan gave it a comprehensive form. This time the Jayanti of Saint Ravidas ji was celebrated at the district headquarters and also at the panchayat level. Even in rural areas, the jayanti of Saint Ravidas ji is being celebrated with great enthusiasm.

National President of Anusuchit Morcha and former Minister Lal Singh Arya said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Chouhan, the Jayanti of Saint Ravidas ji is being celebrated in a grand manner from village to state level. Such a grand celebration of the Jayanti of Saint Ravidas ji is a historic decision. He said that like Saint Kabir and Saint Valmiki, now Saint Ravidas ji's Kumbh is being organised. Arya said that a grand temple of Saint Ravidas ji has been built at Maihar at a cost of Rs.3.5 crore. A memorial worth Rs 3 crore is also being built in Sagar. The Central Government is also building temples and memorials in the honour of Saint Ravidas across the country.
MLA Smt. Krishna Gaur said that Saint Ravidas ji created the history of social equality and harmony. He promoted the poor, women, scheduled castes and scheduled tribes with equality for all. Smt. Gaur demanded from Chief Minister Chouhan that the temple of Saint Ravidas ji at Barkheda should be developed as a tourist destination and the ideals and teachings of Saint Ravidas ji should be included in the school curriculum.

Garlands were offered and worship was done at the potrait of Saint Ravidas ji. The saints who came from all over the state were honoured by garlanding and offering Shawls and Shrifal. Arun Goyal and the troupe enthralled the audience by singing melodious hymns of Saint Ravidas ji.
