Bhopal 05 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of cleanliness is the most important. It is not fair to look down upon it as a petty work. Cleanliness is essential for a healthy life. I acknowledge the Safai Mitras (sanitation friends) who keep our streets and cities clean by removing all the dirt. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given the mantra of cleanliness to the country. If we have to make a clean India, then the work of cleanliness has to be looked upon with respect and every person has to take part in the cleanliness activities.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that today, on the occasion of my birthday, I have come to the Bijasen Basti and cleaned it with the aim of motivating the masses for cleaning activities. Have collected wet and dry waste from the houses and put it separately in the garbage vehicle. The aim of this activity is to motivate the general public to follow it continuously. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the people present on his birthday after doing cleanliness work with the Safai Mitras of Municipal Corporation in Bijasen Basti of Bhopal.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that if there is cleanliness, then there will be less spread of diseases. Dirt increases germs, diseases increase and disease leads to loss of health as well as money. So keep the house clean, keep the household waste in the designated boxes and put the garbage separately in the vehicles.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that every person has to develop a sense of responsibility to keep his/her house, street, locality, village and city clean. Like Indore, Bhopal also has to be made the best in cleanliness. Chief Minister Chouhan also inspired for plantation once a year along with cleanliness. Former Minister Umashankar Gupta, former Municipal Corporation Chairman Ramdayal Prajapati and public representatives also participated in the cleanliness activities conducted at Bijasen Basti – Window to News
