Bhopal 07 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that consistent with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's mantra to build a Atma-Nirbhar Bharat, whatever has been done for the building of Atma-Nirbhar Madhya Pradesh in the difficult circumstances of Covid-19 is amazing and unprecedented. Chief Minister Chouhan was discussing with the media representatives after the address of Governor Mangubhai Patel in the Vidhan Sabha. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the State Government has worked for the welfare of every section of the society. The Governor has outlined these activities in his address.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that even in difficult and adverse circumstances of Corona, financial expenditure was not allowed to come down in the state. A comparatively greater amount has been spent for infrastructure development. Adequate funds have been made available for the welfare of different sections of the society, especially the weaker sections. For the first time in the country, 7 thousand 618 crore rupees of crop insurance scheme have been deposited in the accounts of farmers. Also, in RBC 6-4, Rs 3 thousand crore was made available to the farmers earlier. For the loss of crops, an amount of more than ten and half crore rupees was made available to 49 lakh farmer families.
