Governor attends training programme of Anganwadi workers
Bhopal 11 March 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that Anganwadi centers are centers of multidimensional humanitarian service. The future of the country is created by the services being provided by the Anganwadi centers. Governor Patel was addressing the completion of training programme of Anganwadi workers in Vidisha on Friday.
Governor Patel said that Anganwadi workers have an important role to play in laying the foundation for the future of the nation. He said that Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Sahyog is necessary for the welfare of the state. In this the cooperation of Anganwadi workers is important.
Governor Patel also described the role of Anganwadi Centers as important for the prevention of genetic diseases. He said that if children suffering from sickle cell come to the center, then their parents must also be tested. This disease is genetic. In the training, he told to hold tests of innovations for children and pregnant women at the implementation centers. The Governor said that there is no age to learn. The work of giving a new direction to the society is being done by those who give and receive training, which will reap benefits. He told the Anganwadi workers, Sahayikas that as soon as the information of a woman being pregnant is received, she should be provided care, so that the newborn and his mother are safe and healthy. Governor Mangubhai Patel also distributed certificates to the Anganwadi Supervisors and workers.
Rekha Chudasama also addressed the 5-day Anganwadi training programme organized in collaboration with Vidya Bharti and Seva Bharti. Anganwadi workers shared their experiences.
