Bhopal 13 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that our government is a government that gives development rights to the poor. We are concerned about the development of every section. The poor and deprived who have been left behind in the race for development, are being given the right to development on priority basis. In the Vindhya region, there has been unprecedented development in agriculture through the canals of Bansagar Dam. Now the wheat of Rewa is in demand not only in the country but also abroad. Survey will be conducted for irrigation facilities in Sirmour area. Orders have been given for the survey of the irrigation scheme from Tamas river.
Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the Hitgrahi Sammelan and dedication and bhoomi-pujan programme of development works at Sirmour in Rewa district today. Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated construction works worth Rs. 222 crore 79 lakh and performed bhoomi-pujan. Also, benefits worth more than Rs.6 crore were distributed to the beneficiaries. The Chief Minister also gave several gifts of development works to Sirmour region.
Chief Minister Chouhan announced the opening of SDM Court and upgradation of Community Health Center into Civil Hospital in Jawa. Along with this he also announced the opening of college in Baikunthpur from the next session, restoration of the dilapidated building of Janpad Panchayat Sirmour, renaming of Nashtigawan to Divyagram and Nashtigwan College to Shaheed Birsa Munda College, Sirmour Civil Hospital as Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, renaming ITI College after former MP Late. Chandramani Tripathi and Lalgaon Higher Secondary School after Lal Rukmani Raman Pratap Singh. The Chief Minister also announced opening of sub-tehsil in Baikunthpur and upgradation of Sirmour ITI and giving funds for construction of building with 6 new trades.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that houses of 84 thousand poor families have been built in Rewa district under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. After conducting a survey of the eligible families of the scheme, they will also be given the facility of pucca housing replacing their kutcha houses. He said that a provision of Rs 10,000 crore has been made in the budget for the housing of the poor in the state. In the next three years, 30 lakh houses will be built for the poor in the state. Along with this, more than one lakh families in Rewa district will be given land pattas under Mukhyamantri Bhu-Awas Adhikar Yojana. If government land is not available for pattas, then private land will be purchased and given to the poor.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that CM Rise School would be established in Sirmour, the building of which would be constructed at a cost of Rs 24 crore. It will have all the facilities of modern education. Ayushman cards have been given to more than 7 lakh families in the district. Due to this, the poor are getting free treatment in government as well as private hospitals. The nutrition food plant set up in Pahariya of the district will be operated by the women of self-help groups. The Chief Minister said that Basaman Mama had laid down his life to protect the Peepal tree. Every person must plant saplings on his birthday and other important occasions. Also they must contribute in keeping their village and city clean.
During a hearing on the applications received from the general public, Chief Minister Chouhan directed to provide the last installment of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to one of the beneficiaries immediately. He instructed the Chief Executive Officer of the District Panchayat to take appropriate action in case of delay in giving the installment of the house to the beneficiary. In another application, Chief Minister Chouhan directed to suspend the then Patwari of Baron Halke for asking for money for changes in land records. The Chief Minister said that I will not let anyone take the money of the poor. Anyone making such an attempt will be dismissed within a minute.
MP Janardan Mishra said that Chief Minister Chouhan is the saviour of Rewa. He has given many gifts including education, health, roads, bridges to Sirmour region and entire Rewa district. Vidhan Sabha Speaker Girish Gautam expressed his gratitude to the Chief Minister for not imposing any new tax on the general public in this budget. MLA Divyaraj Singh said that Chief Minister Chouhan has directly connected Sirmour with Dabhaura area through two big roads.
Among those present in the programme were MLA and former minister Rajendra Shukla, MLA Nagendra Singh, KP Tripathi, Shyamlal Dwivedi, Pradeep Patel, District Panchayat President Abhay Mishra along with public representatives and a large number of citizens.
CM visits exhibition
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan went around the exhibition put up by various government departments at the venue and inquired about the departmental activities. After visiting the exhibition stall of the Women and Child Development Department, he said that, in every Anganwadi Poshan Matkas should be kept and nutritious food should be distributed to the children on time. He saw the products made by the self-help groups in the stall put up by the Rural Livelihood Mission, and held discussion with the women of the group. The Chief Minister said that market arrangements would be made for the products manufactured by the group, enabling the women to earn up to Rs 10,000 per month.
