Golden Jubilee Celebrations of BSSS College Held
Bhopal 14 March 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel has asked the youths to participate in building the nation and society with the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. By becoming the custodian of our glorious culture, lead the new society with the spirit of Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay (everybody's good, everybody's happiness). Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given opportunities of endless possibilities for the youths in building a new India. Contribute in building a capable, strong and prosperous country with everyone's development, cooperation, trust and efforts. Governor Patel was addressing the Golden Jubilee celebrations of BSSS College.
Governor Mangubhai Patel said that for success in life, sensitivity is also necessary along with knowledge. There can be many means of attaining material pleasures, but the most effective way to attain inner satisfaction and inner peace is by serving the needy. He has expected the teachers to motivate the students to build a self-reliant India through self-reliance with discipline and values to make the students recognised as good citizens in the society. By inculcating in them the sense of seriousness of values, standards and
responsibilities, fill them with a commitment to serve the society, nation so that students can establish new dimensions in the field of life which they pursue. Contribute your best in the building of the country and the state. With their behaviour and actions, they will bring laurels to the college family, society and the country and the state. In the Golden Jubilee celebrations, he asked to make efforts to make students aware of the culture and art of their country, so that the younger generation gets acquainted with the country's glorious history, academic and economic prosperity. At the same time become committed to building a new nation by taking inspiration from the causes of subjugation of a strong nation and the stories of the struggle and sacrifices made for the freedom from it.
In the ceremony, the Vice Chancellor of Barkatullah University RJ Rao appreciated the efforts of the college. He extended good wishes to the students for a bright future.
Archbishop Father Durairaj, Chairman of BSSS College, said that in line with the efforts to realise the vision of a healthy society under the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, efforts are being made for quality education while coordinating with social service, diligence and changes in the field of education. Along with the study of elective subjects, special emphasis is also being laid on research and exploration. Recalling the sequence of development of the college, he also mentioned the contribution of former principals.
Principal Father Dr. John PJ, in his welcome address, informed about the social-service, village development works being done by the college and the cooperation of the students in the time of Covid epidemic. He said that the former students of the college have set an example of national unity by contributing to the Prime Minister's relief and the grand Ram temple construction fund in Ayodhya. He told that the NAAC grading of the college is A. Here more than 5 thousand students are studying in undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The new education policy has been adopted by the college in the form of semester system. Along with teaching subjects like science, commerce, computer etc. to the students, initiatives have been taken to establish Indian values and virtues in life.
