Bhopal 14 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan planted saplings of Karanj and Saptaparni in Smart Udyan today. Under the Women and Child Development Department, Sunayana Mahajan, Sushri Maya Mehte, Sushri Sunita Prajapati and Sushri Komal Chouhan, who impart employment training to the young women, also planted saplings.
These women are working to connect the young women living under the protection of Shaskiya Paschatvarti Dekhrekh Sangathan (government aftercare organisation) in the mainstream of society by teaching employable skills. The group is also continuously active in the field of environment and cleanliness. Along with this, the work of motivating people to plant trees, keep the city clean and maintain cleanliness is also being done in Bhopal. A large number of saplings are planted every year by the organisation on Women's Day and National Girl Child Day.
