Rabi procurement and disposal and milling of stored paddy reviewed
Bhopal 23 March 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that every grain of wheat produced by the farmers will be purchased. He also gave necessary instructions to the officers regarding speedy sale and milling of paddy. Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing Rabi procurement and disposal and milling of stored paddy at Mantralaya today. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Bisahulal Singh, Cooperatives and Public Service Management Minister Arvind Singh Bhadauria, Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and other departmental officers were present.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that there should be no shortcomings in the arrangements for wheat procurement. Godowns should be arranged for storage. He said that export of wheat should be promoted. Chief Minister Chouhan said that wheat should be procured keeping in mind the new provisions of Rabi Registration 2022-23. He said that the wheat of Madhya Pradesh has its own identity in the country.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that there is a system of registration through biometric verification at wheat procurement centers. Along with this, arrangement has also been made for nominee in registrations. Arrangements have also been made for registration of Aadhaar-less, old and physically challenged farmers.
