Bhopal 26 March 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that there is a need to teach the history of the country's independence and its importance to the present generation. Those who made sacrifices have also played an important role in the independence of our country. Litterateurs should keep circulating new blood in the arteries of the country with their works while showing the right path to their civilization, culture and nation.

Governor Patel was addressing a conference of literary organisations organised by Madhya Bharat Hindi Sahitya Samiti in Indore today. In the programme, he honoured senior litterateur Dr. Damodar Khadse and Rajkumar Kumbhaj with Samiti Centenary Award.

Governor Patel said that Madhya Bharat Hindi Sahitya Samiti is a pious organisation doing supreme service to the national language Hindi for a century. It is a matter of pride to be present in the conference of literary organisations conducted by this institution. Revered Bapu Mahatma Gandhi Ji also visited this institution. The committed service of national language by this institution of literary workers and seekers (sadhaks) of Ma Saraswati is exemplary and venerable. Writers and poets are an integral part of the society. They never retire, their creativity doesn't get tired, and they don't let the society get tired. The writer also fulfills the responsibilities of ordinary life while creating extraordinary. He appealed to all the literary scholars to keep spreading new blood in the arteries of their country with their pen, showing the right path to their civilization, culture and nation. Keep the social consciousness awake and active to help the needy and deprived sections. The history of the country's independence should be told to the present generation and its importance should be explained. He said that those who made sacrifices have also played an important role in the independence of the country.

Former Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan said that literature is a special genre. Literature is a medium of positive change. Literature helps to understand our culture and civilization. MP Shankar Lalwani said that Madhya Bharat Hindi Sahitya Samiti has a glorious history. This institution has a great contribution in the service of literature. Dr. Damodar Khadse and Rajkumar Kumbhaj also expressed their views.
