Bhopal 28 March 2022: The dream of lakhs of people in Madhya Pradesh, who were living in kutcha houses for years, of owning a pucca house is being fulfilled by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conduct virtual griha pravesh of 5 lakh 21 thousand beneficiaries, whose Pradhan Mantri Awas has been completed. All these beneficiaries are not only thanking the Prime Minister and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, but are also giving blessings from their hearts because now they have got their own pucca house.
Suman Bai, a 65-year-old woman from Sindkheda in Khargone district, whose husband died six years ago, does not have a son but she has no regrets because the government is taking care of her. Her pucca house is complete, and the griha pravesh will be conducted by Prime Minister Modi. Along with this, she has also got pension, Ujjwala gas connection and Ayushman card. She has also received funds for construction of toilet. Expressing her gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister in Nimari language, she says, “Mak poriyani ti many matbal ni, mak ta mahari sarkar sab di rai.” That is, why should I have sons, the government is giving me everything.
The pucca house of Smt. Resham, wife of Kamlesh of Tumra village in Junnardev block of Chhindwara district is also ready. There is a lot of enthusiasm in her family and they are thanking the government. Now, by getting a pucca house, they will not have to face problems due to rain and cold.
Aarti Singh, a resident of Badra village in Anuppur district, is survived by her husband and 3 sons. Because of their kutcha house, they had to face a lot of trouble during rains. Water was continuously dripping from the ceiling. They had to shift household items every now and then. Looking at other pucca houses in the village, she used to hope she too owned a pucca house.” But it was not possible due to lack of funds. Getting a pucca house under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is no less than a boon for them. Everyone is very happy. Jeevan Das, a resident of village Chohri of Anuppur district, received Rs. 1 lakh 30 thousand under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to build a pucca house. Along with this, wages of Rs 17 thousand 530 were also received through MNREGA scheme. Now his pucca house is ready.
Mukesh, resident of Jajna village in Sehore district, and his family used to be afraid of poisonous animals during monsoon in their kutcha house. They are now feeling safe after owning the PM Awas. He too is thankful to the Prime Minister and the Chief Minister for his pucca house.
Prakash Puralal Mali, resident of Kyampur village in Mandsaur district had a big family. They lived in a small kutcha house. With the arrival of their daughter-in-law in the house, they began to face the problem of lack of space. In such a situation, the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was like a dream for him. His house was completed within 6 months of approval of the house. Along with this, he also got toilet from Swachh Bharat Mission, gas connection from Ujjwala Yojana, electricity connection and Ayushman card. Now he will live happily with his family in a pucca house.
Pushpraj Singh, a resident of Chitraon village in Shahdol district, was living in a kutcha house for 40 years and had never thought that he could ever own a pucca house. Now he is thanking the government for his pucca house. Sudama Kewat, resident of Vijaysota village of Shahdol district has also got the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
