Bhopal 01 April 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that hospitals are like temples for the suffering humanity. To serve such people is to serve God. He said that the opportunity to serve the suffering humanity comes only by the grace of God. All those who have got this opportunity are fortunate.
Governor Patel was addressing the felicitation ceremony of the members and office bearers of the State Branch of the Indian Red Cross Society, Madhya Pradesh organized in the Red Cross premises.
Governor Mangubhai Patel welcomed the newly elected members and office bearers. He said that the victims should be served with full authenticity and integrity. He said that along with the work of treating the patients coming to the hospital, it is necessary to have sensitivity and compassion towards them. It is very important to listen to their problems with a patient ear. By doing this, their sorrow and pain is reduced. It also has a positive, psychological effect. This also helps speed up improvement in their health. He called upon all the seniors to the juniors associated with the Red Cross to set the best example of commitment to service to the suffering humanity, so that their work is widely appreciated in the society.
Public Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Prabhuram Choudhary said that the Red Cross is recognized as a future institution for service to the society. The role of the organization is also as a platform for those who want to extend their support in work of service. The Red Cross is an effective organization that comes forward to serve the suffering humanity in times of disaster. It is the responsibility of the elected members to further enhance its glory. He informed about the efforts being made for the service of the suffering humanity in the country and the state.
