CM participates in consecration ceremony at Karunadham Ashram in Dewas district

Bhopal 16 April 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today attended the consecration ceremony of Pitrpurush Brahmalin Bade Gurudev and Shakti Swaroopa Mataji at Karunadham Ashram in village Karondmafi of Khategaon tehsil in Dewas district and performed puja-archana. Social workers, farmers practicing natural farming and land donors were honoured in the ceremony. Chief Minister Chouhan also visited the Gaushala located in the ashram premises.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that I am fortunate that today I have been able to visit this place. While Parikramavasis will get shelter here, religious events will also continue to be organized. He said that all of us should vow to serve people. It doesn't matter whether the service is big or small, whatever we do, we must do it from the heart. Maa Narmada’s grace is on all of us. Viewing Maa Narmada from here, has made my life fruitful.

Take a pledge for de-addiction and continue with the campaign

Chief Minister Chouhan said that drug addiction is the root of destruction. No one has ever been benefitted by this. We have closed the liquor shops on the banks of Narmada. The government will not promote liquor. A drug de-addiction campaign will be run with public cooperation. Let us all take a pledge to fight against drug addiction and take forward the campaign against drugs. Chief Minister Chouhan also administered a pledge for de-addiction to the people present.

Farmers should adopt natural farming

Chief Minister Chouhan said that villagers must extend support to maintain cleanliness in the villages. The government can't do this work alone. Farmers should not burn Narwai. Many living beings are destroyed along with Narwai besides it also adversely affects the productivity of soil. He also encouraged the farmers to adopt natural farming. The Chief Minister said that fertilizer farming would turn the land barren in 50 years. To avoid toxic farming, farmers should adopt natural farming. In natural farming, there is less consumption of water. It does not require fertilizers. Farmers can start with natural farming on one or half acre land on an experimental basis. After this, the area under cultivation can be increased if found profitable.

Plant a tree at least once a year

Chief Minister Chouhan said that every citizen must plant trees once in a year for environmental protection. Let us all take a pledge today to start planting saplings on our birthdays or any other festival. Chief Minister Chouhan said that anyone who ill treats women in Madhya Pradesh will be punished. They will also be crippled financially. We must take a pledge to save and educate daughters.
Gurudev Sudesh Shandilya Ji Maharaj said that we are present on the holy bank of Maa. Any work done on the banks of Maa Narmada is like a thunderbolt. There are two types of Lakshmi, where there is Alakshmi, there is discord. Where it is dirtyness, there will be Alakshmi. Cleanliness is must to attract Lakshmi. Apart from your village and house, your mind must also be clean. Maa Narmada has allotted this place for service. The Ashram was built due to the will power and service of the villagers.
MLA Ashish Sharma said that this village is ancient. The blessings of Maa Narmada are with all of us. The Narmada Parikramavasis will get shelter here in the ashram with the help of the villagers. Farmers’ Welfare and Agriculture Minister Kamal Patel, Saints, public representatives and a large number of villagers were present – Window to News
