Revenue Minister Gupta at Street Vendor Training Programme

Bhopal: Even I have sold balloons on the road. Revenue, Science and Technology Minister Umashankar Gupta said this at the street vendor training programme. The two-day training was organized at Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihood Mission.

Gupta said that street vendors are the founders of online order and goods supply system. Street vendors were the first to introduce home delivery system. He said that one must keep in mind all the things told during the training and work accordingly. Training was given to the street vendors on their rights and duties, maintenance of food items, health and cleanliness, capacity building and cashless system etc. Health examination of street vendors was also conducted. The training was imparted by Education and Society Welfare Committee.-WTN
