Necessary Assistance Will Be Given For the Development of Two Textile and One Toy Cluster

Bhopal 19 April 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the work of providing employment to the needy people will be done with the establishment of cluster based special industrial units in the state. Concrete proposals received in this regard will be implemented on priority. Investment and employment is the priority of the state government. People will get employment from two textile clusters in Burhanpur district and one toy cluster in Indore. Necessary assistance will be given under the policies and provisions for the establishment and development of industrial units in the clusters.

Chief Minister Chouhan said this during the presentation of Fairdeal Burhanpur Cluster, Sukhpuri Burhanpur Textile Cluster and Toy Cluster Rangwasa Indore by the Department of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) in Mantralaya today. Chief Minister Chouhan said that full cooperation would be given for possible investment of Rs. 220 crore to provide employment to about 4 thousand people in Burhanpur. It is proposed to set up 105 units in this cluster. An amount of about Rs. 20 crore is also proposed to be spent for infrastructural development. Interest subsidy facility and other necessary concessions will be considered for the development of textile units in the cluster. It was informed in the meeting that an investment of about Rs. 952 crore is possible on the establishment of Sukhpuri Burhanpur Textile Cluster. There is a proposal to provide employment to more than 07 thousand people through 250 units. Similarly, an estimated investment of Rs 70 crore in Rangwasa Toy Cluster of Indore will help in providing employment to 3400 people. It is proposed to set up 20 units in this cluster.
