Provide Drinking Water Facility to the Public by Completing Water Supply Scheme before the Stipulated Time - Chief Minister Chouhan

Bhopal 20 April 2022 : Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that a target should be set to complete the works of Rs 200 crore water supply scheme in Bhind before the stipulated time so that citizens can get enough drinking water during this summer. Similarly, the works of water supply scheme being constructed at a cost of about 400 crores in Makronia, a suburb town of Sagar, should also be expedited. This scheme is to be completed in September 2022 and efforts should be made to finish it before the time so that the public is benefitted.

Chief Minister Chouhan was reviewing major projects being run in the state (Pragati Online) at Mantralaya today. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains and other officers were present. Chief Minister Chouhan also discussed with the officials of the agencies working for both the water supply schemes and asked them to complete the schemes at the earliest.

One thousand bed hospital in Gwalior

Additional Chief Secretary Health Mohammad Suleman informed that the work of 1000 bed capacity hospital in Gwalior is about to be completed. At present OPD is also operating in one block. Along with the hospital building, the construction of Dharmshala is also going on. On completion of the work of the hospital, there will be an increase in the treatment facilities for the patients of Gwalior region.

Global Skills Park of Bhopal

Principal Secretary Technical Education, Skill Development and Employment Akash Tripathi informed that Bhopal's Global Skills Park will be ready by the end of this year. The project cost of this park being developed in collaboration with Singapore is Rs. 645 crore. This park will become an important centre for providing employment to the youth of the capital Bhopal and Madhya Pradesh by training them –Window to News
