Bhopal 22 April 2022: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state in the country to make forest dwellers the owners of forest areas. Madhya Pradesh has done this era transformatic work. The Madhya Pradesh government is active in fulfilling the important announcements made for the development of tribal community in Jabalpur in the last September. Fulfilling those announcements, Chief Minister Chouhan has sta6rted implementing them. Forests were owned by the government from the time of the British. Now in Madhya Pradesh, along with the precious teak wood, forest dwellers will be the owners of 20% of the amount of other forest wealth. This is a big initiative implemented in favour of the tribal community. Madhya Pradesh has the highest tribal population of 21% in the country. Madhya Pradesh government has done commendable work for their welfare.

Union Minister Shah was addressing the conference of Forest Committees at Jamboree Maidan today. Union Minister Shah said that Chief Minister Chouhan has worked continuously to make Madhya Pradesh a developed state from a BIMARU state. Madhya Pradesh is now included in the developed states. Here important works like irrigation system, adequate power supply have been done under the leadership of Shivraj Ji. Madhya Pradesh's initiative for tribal welfare is exemplary for the whole country. Union Home Minister Shah said that all the people of the forest dwelling areas should live with rights, this is their dream, which is being realised. Today, an amount of crores of rupees has been paid to the tendu patta collectors along with distribution of funds for bamboo and other production. In Madhya Pradesh, 827 out of 925 forest villages will start getting facilities like revenue villages. Delimitation will be possible here, loan for housing will be available and all the rights of revenue will be provided to the forest dwellers. The representatives of the forest dwellers who came to the conference will go back today with a sense of self-respect. Works can be done on priority through forest committees in more than 15 thousand 600 gram sabhas in the state.

Union Minister Shah said that Prime Minister Modi has been successful in giving the identity of the government to the deprived and downtrodden sections of the society. It has also been resolved to give everyone his house by the end of this year. Shah said that toilets have been constructed in the country. 13 crore Ujjwala gas connections have been given. Initiative is being taken to supply water from tap to every household in Jal Jeevan Mission. This work will be completed by the year 2024. Under Ayushman Yojana, treatment facility up to Rs. 5 lakh is being provided. Free food grains were given during the Corona period. The benefit of vaccination was given to the citizens.

Union Home Minister Shah said that along with the distribution of food grains under the "Mukhyamantri Ration Aapke Gram" scheme, food grant of 1000 is also being given to the tribal people. Madhya Pradesh achieving a 19.7 percent growth rate in the year 2021-22 is a big achievement. There has been an increase in GDP by 200% in the last 10 years in Madhya Pradesh, which has not happened in other states. The capital expenditure in the state has increased from Rs 31 thousand crore to 40 thousand crore. The Government of India has also provided 11 thousand crores to Madhya Pradesh. The budget for the welfare of tribals has increased from Rs. 4 thousand crores to Rs. 7 thousand 524 crores. The Government of India has increased the amount of 21 thousand crores of the previous government for the development of tribes to 78 thousand crore. An amount of 14 thousand 18 crores has been reserved for Eklavya schools.

Prime Minister Modi has done special work for the welfare of tribals. The Union Home Minister tgreeted and congratulated Chief Minister Chouhan and his team for the historical work of more measured for welfare of Madhya Pradesh and tribal class.

827 forest villages will become revenue villages

Union Home Minister Shah started the work of making one village as revenue village by pressing the button from the remote. For this work, 827 villages in 26 districts of the state have been selected.

Forest dwellers' lives will be improved by converting revenue villages into forest villages: Chief Minister Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that a powerful, glorious and prosperous India is being built under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has worked for the end of terrorism and Naxalism with the abolition of Article 370 from Kashmir. In Madhya Pradesh, work is being done in all directions under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi. Greenery has been increased in the state with the help of forest dwellers. The work of distribution of free ration has been done under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Yojana. In tribal-dominated blocks, the work of delivering ration to the homes has been done. The process of implementing the PESA Act was started in the interest of the forest dwellers. The right to community forest management has been given. This will benefit the forest dwellers.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that this water, land and forest belong to the forest dwellers. By getting a share of the income earned from forests, forest dwellers will cooperate in the development of forests. The Forest Department will be in the role of an associate. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the recruitments on backlog posts are being made, tribal community will get its benefit. Work is being done to connect this class of people with tuition fee facilities, grants for higher education and employment opportunities. Work is also being done to control sickle cell anaemia. Governor Mangubhai Patel is also giving guidance in this work. With the forest villages becoming revenue villages, there will be division and conversion and girdawari of crops will also be done. The benefit of crop insurance scheme will be available on natural calamity, Anganwadi and school buildings will be approved and better health facilities will be available. Ponds can also be constructed. Chief Minister Chouhan said that through Gram Sabha, there will be an opportunity to work for the welfare of forest dwellers.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that today an amount of Rs 125 crore is being provided in the accounts of 22 lakh beneficiaries of the state. This is a campaign to change the lives of Vanvasi brothers and sisters. In Madhya Pradesh, instead of Rs. 250 per hundred bundles, Rs. 300 will be given to the tendu patta collectors.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that 21 thousand acres of land has been made free from land mafia in the state. The houses of the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana will be built on this land. 30 lakh houses have been built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. This year 10 lakh houses and next year also 10 lakh houses will be constructed. A budget provision of 10 thousand crores has been made for this. Citizens are getting the benefits of Ayushman Yojana. Sambal scheme has been restarted. By giving relief related to electricity bills during the Corona period, the government has postponed the bills of Rs 6400 crore. Now an amount of 55 thousand rupees is being given in the Kanya Vivah Yojana.

Murugan, Member of Parliament VD Sharma, senior leader Kailash Vijayvargiya, Om Prakash Dhurve, Member of Parliament Sushri Pragya Singh Thakur, Kal Singh Bhabar, Forest Minister of Madhya Pradesh Vijay Shah, Minister of Home, Jail and Parliamentary Affairs Dr. Narottam Mishra, Minister of Cooperation Arvind Bhadoria, Medical Education Minister Vishwas Sarang and Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh were present.
At the beginning of the conference, there was an impressive presentation of the famous folk dance of Bundelkhand’s "Badhaai". Union Home Minister Shah was also presented with traditional bows and jackets symbolizing tribal culture. Union Minister Shah met all the cabinet members of Madhya Pradesh government on reaching the venue. A large number of tribal representatives from all over the state were present in the programme.

Incentive given to the beneficiaries

The Union Home Minister Amit Shah symbolically gave incentive remuneration to 5 tendu patta collectors Smt. Lalita Bai Sehore, Smt. Santosh Raisen, Amar Singh Narmadapuram, Sajan Singh Dewas and Lakshmibai Harda. Dividend was given to forest committees of forest committees of Chhindwara, Betul and Harda districts.

Forest Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah said that while saving the forests in the state, work is being done in the direction of overall development. Forests should not be cut, forest dwellers should consider it as theirs, this is the first government to give 20% dividend to them. In the state, the government used to get income of about one thousand crore rupees per year from forests. Now the forest dwellers will get its share.

Visited the exhibition

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also visited the exhibition of excellent works done by the Forest Department at the venue. The details of the achievements made in relation to the development of forests, the works of forest committees and forest produce have been given in the exhibition. The work of rope manufacturing was demonstrated by Satpura Rope Manufacturing Centre of Narsinghpur district. The Union Home Minister received information regarding rope manufacturing from the members of the committee. He appreciated the exhibition by visiting various products.
