Common Citizens Should Provide Toys for Centres
Chief Minister Chouhan Gave Instructions to Give Impetus to the Adopt an Anganwadi Campaign

Bhopal 25 April 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that by giving impetus to the Adopt an Anganwadi campaign in the state, a new look will be given with public cooperation. Toys will also be provided for children in Anganwadi centres. Social organisations should also come forward for this. Many useful items are kept unused in homes. Collect them at the Mohalla level and take them to Anganwadi centres and needy people.

Chief Minister Chouhan gave these instructions during discussion in the meeting held in Mantralaya today. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains was present. Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the coming months, the nature of Anganwadi centres should be such that the Anganwadis of Madhya Pradesh become an example for other states. Many citizens and organisations are adopting Anganwadi in the state under the Adopt an Anganwadi campaign. Efforts have also been made by public representatives to make the centres convenient, clean and beautiful.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that there has been a tradition of distributing such medicines available in homes that have not passed their expiry date by doctors at health camps in the localities. This tradition of social service can be re-established by spending a few hours per week for this work. Various contributions can also be made for the children coming to the Anganwadi centres. Many people also want to make such a contribution. With some people coming forward, a mentality to cooperate is developed among other capable people. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the affluent class can also take initiative for the naming many schools. The naming of hospitals and schools in the memory of parents has started, it should continue.
Additional Chief Secretary Women and Child Development Ashok Shah informed that Bal Choupal is organised on the third Tuesday of the month. The number of associates for the Adopt an Anganwadi campaign is continuously increasing – Window to News
