Ensure Adequate Power Supply by Using Energy Sources – Chief Minister Chouhan

Bhopal 25 April 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has given instructions to maintain smooth power supply in the state. In the meeting held at Mantralaya today, Chief Minister Chouhan directed the officials of the Energy Department to ensure that the citizens continue to get electricity supply without any hindrance. Adequate supply should be ensured using energy sources. The demand and supply of electricity in the state was also discussed in the meeting.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that renewable energy sources should be used along with conventional energy generation. Conduct the drive to set up roof top plants in government offices. Many buildings are using solar energy. This work should be expanded. Along with saving electricity, common people should also try to use solar energy. Necessary plant installation work should be done under technical guidance for operation of appliances and regular power supply in homes with solar energy. For this, the department should also encourage the citizens. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the use of other alternative energy sources like hydropower, wind energy should also be increased in the state. Chief Minister Chouhan also received information about the implementation of Kusum Yojana-A in rural areas.
