Bhopal 04 May 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the politics of Madhya Pradesh has never been individualistic. The voices of nationalist politics have always been vocal in Madhya Pradesh. Here politics was never based on regionalism. Madhya Pradesh has a tradition of two-polar politics. Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the release programme of two books of eminent political analyst Girija Shankar, "Samkaleen Rajniti-Madhya Pradesh" (Contemporary Politics-Madhya Pradesh) and "Chunavi Rajniti-Madhya Pradesh" (Electoral Politics-Madhya Pradesh). Former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri, socialist thinker Raghu Thakur, public representatives, Sadhna Singh Chouhan, senior administrative officers and media representatives were present.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that in the books of Girija Shankar, there is a realistic description of all the political situations of the state. The books go ahead with a detailed and meticulous analysis of all the events after the formation of the state. The precise description of political parties and political personalities presented by the author impresses with depth and breadth. The present and future generations greatly need analysts and scholars like Girija Shankar. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Girija Shankar's impartial approach, writing and creativity give him a special place. Former Union Minister Suresh Pachauri said that there is political rivalry in Madhya Pradesh but there is no political enmity. The decency of behaviour in politics is the heritage of the state, decency also exists in the process of transfer of power after elections. Girija Shankar's books have saved the political developments of the state for the coming generations.
