Chief Minister Chouhan Spoke to Khargone Riot Affected Daughter Laxmi

Bhopal 08 May 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan spoke through video conferencing to Kumari Laxmi Muchhal and her family affected by communal riots in Khargone. Chief Minister Chouhan received information regarding the ongoing preparations for the marriage of daughter Laxmi and also gave necessary instructions to the district administration in this regard.

It is noteworthy that the marriage of Kumari Laxmi was fixed on April 11. In communal riots, Laxmi's house was looted on April 10 and Laxmi's wedding items were looted by miscreants. Laxmi does not have parents, the responsibility of sustaining the family rests on elder brother Satish Muchhal, who is a vehicle driver. As soon as Chief Minister Chouhan came to know about the condition of Laxmi, he immediately instructed the district administration to make all arrangements for the marriage of Laxmi.

Chief Minister will send gifts to daughter Laxmi on his behalf

Arrangements have been made by the district administration for clothes and utensils etc. to be given as gifts during the wedding ceremony. Now Laxmi's marriage has been fixed on May 20. Chief Minister Chouhan said in the video conference that the marriage of daughter Laxmi will be conducted with pomp and special gifts will also be sent from his side. The Khargone collector, district administration officials and daughter Laxmi's family joined the NIC room at Khargone through video conferencing conducted by Chief Minister Chouhan from the residence office.
