Bhopal 16 May 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will inaugurate Mission Nagroday on May 17 at 6 pm at Kushabhau Thakre International Convention Centre, Bhopal. In the programme, Chief Minister Chouhan will do Bhumi Pujan, dedicate various development works of worth more than 21 thousand crores, conduct Grih Pravesh and distribute funds to the beneficiaries through virtual medium with a single click. In the programme, Chief Minister Sri Chouhan will also interact with the beneficiaries of government schemes. Urban Development and Housing Minister Bhupendra Singh and Minister of State OPS Bhadauria will also be present.
Chief Minister Chouhan will inaugurate schemes of worth Rs. 12 thousand 858 crore 71 lakh in Amrut-2.0 and Rs. 4 thousand 913 crore 74 lakh in Swachh Bharat Mission-2.0.
Chief Minister Chouhan will distribute benefits to one lakh 35 thousand beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). Chief Minister Chouhan will conduct Grih Pravesh of the beneficiaries in 25 thousand houses of a total cost of 962 crore 50 lakh, distribution of installments of Rs 750 crore to 80 thousand beneficiaries and bhoomi-pujan of 30 thousand houses of a total cost of 1155 crore. Also, in the programme, he will distribute Rs. 210 crore to one lakh 65 thousand beneficiaries under the Pradhan Mantri Swa-Nidhi Yojana. Of these, 120 crore will be distributed to one lakh 20 thousand beneficiaries of the first phase and Rs 90 crore to 45 thousand beneficiaries of the second phase.
Chief Minister Chouhan will transfer an amount of Rs. 113 crore to 178 urban bodies for "Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Clinic". Out of this, the amount will be given for construction of 611 new Mukhyamantri Sanjeevani Clinics and for upgradation of 134 already operating Sanjeevani Clinics and Civil Dispensaries .
Chief Minister Chouhan will also do bhumi-pujan and inauguration of drinking water schemes costing Rs. 460 crore, works of Rs. 747 crore in Smart City Mission and other development works of worth Rs. 1264 crore in urban areas.
The programme will be organised in every urban body. Public representatives and beneficiaries of various government schemes will be invited in the programme.
