Bhopal 18 May 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the aim of the government is to make agriculture a profitable business. Farmers should diversify agriculture and do natural farming. Due to this, they will get more profit and the fertility of the agricultural land will also be maintained. The government will give Rs 900 per month to the farmer for keeping a cow for natural farming. Jeevamrut, prepared by mixing cow dung, cow-urine, jaggery, etc., increases the fertility of the soil.

Chief Minister Chouhan today distributed Abadi rights records to 3.7 lakh villagers of the state under Swamitva Yojana in Rewa. Simultaneously, under the Mukhyamantri Kisan Kalyan Yojna, a samman nidhi of Rs. 4 thousand each has been transferred to the accounts 82 lakh farmers. The Chief Minister Chouhan also distributed moong free of cost to the school children as a token.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the area under irrigation is being continuously increased in the state. Remaining work of Barh Sagar project of Rewa area will be completed soon. Work on irrigation schemes worth Rs. 30 thousand crore will start in the state this year. It is the government's resolve to provide water to every farm. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Ken Betwa scheme worth Rs 44 thousand crore has been prepared. The work will start soon after completing the tender process.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the previous government made promises of loan waiver to the farmers but did not waive the loans and imposed a bundle of interest on the heads of the farmers. Our government will remove the bundle of interest from the heads of the farmers. The government buys wheat from farmers for Rs. 20 per kg and gives at the rate of one rupee to poor families. Free ration is also being distributed by the central government. Chief Minister Chouhan said that the date of procurement of wheat on support price in the state has been extended till May 31. The export of wheat has been banned so that farmers do not face any shortage of wheat.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that goons, gangsters, miscreants and bullies will not be allowed to live on the soil of the state, we will mix them in the soil. Illegal land will be distributed among the poor after seizing the illegal lands from the goons. In the last two years, 21 thousand acres of land has been freed from mafia in the state, the cost of which is 15 thousand crore rupees.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that 10 kg moong dal is being given free of cost to school children up to class 5th and 15 kg of moong dal to children of classes 6 to 8 in the state. The government will distribute moong worth about Rs 650 crore. Works worth 22 thousand crores have been sanctioned under Nagrodaya Abhiyan. After the elections to the local bodies, the benefit of the Mukhyamanti Bhu-awasiya Yojana will be given to the beneficiaries.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that our government is working for the welfare of every section. Local body elections will be held with OBC reservation. The government will give scholarships to the students studying in Sanskrit schools. Biography of Lord Parashuram has been included in the school curriculum. The government is determined for social justice and social harmony.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that cities including Rewa, where citizens' lands were unnecessarily notified during the work of the City Improvement Trust, would be denotified. Chief Minister Chouhan gave strict instructions to the officers that the beneficiaries to whom the first installment has been released under the housing scheme, they should be given further installments on time.

The programme was addressed by Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Narendra Singh Tomar (virtually), Speaker of the Assembly Girish Gautam, Revenue and Transport Minister Govind Singh Rajput (virtually), MLA and former Minister Rajendra Shukla, MP Janardan Mishra. Food and Civil Supplies Minister Bisahulal Singh along with public representatives and a large number of farmers and school students were present.

Gift of development works and distribution of benefits

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan dedicated and laid the foundation stone for development works worth Rs.39 crore in the programme. Simultaneously, three passenger buses were flagged off from Rewa to Satna under the Sampark Sutra Seva Yojna. Chief Minister Chouhan distributed moong to school children and also distributed rights records of abadi land to villagers under Swamitva Yojana – Window to News
