Governor Patel Attended the Meeting of the Executive Committee of Bal Kalyan Parishad
Bhopal 27 May 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel has said that efforts for environmental protection and promotion should be done with the participation of children. He said that the MP Bal Kalyan Parishad should prepare a comprehensive programme of plantation. Governor Patel was addressing the meeting of the Executive Committee of the Parishad at Raj Bhavan.
Governor Patel said that the organisation should maintain constant contact and coordination with the Department of Women and Child Development to solve the problems. The Governor was informed that the Parishad is working in the field of social welfare, child welfare and education. In view of climate change, tree plantation is being organised by the Parishad to protect the environment and increase the amount of clean oxygen. Programmes for distribution of educational material, dictionary to the children of disadvantaged and backward classes have been organised and general knowledge discussions have been held. On Children's Day,
painting and general knowledge competitions on various subjects have been organised for the students from nursery to class 10th. In the corona awareness programme, children were also given advice about using masks regularly and properly, washing hands frequently, using sanitizers and maintaining social distance.
