Madhya Pradesh will get support from France in various fields
Bhopal 04 June 2022: Ambassador of France, Emmanuel Lenin, today called on Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at his residence today. Welcoming Emmanuel Lenin on his visit to Madhya Pradesh, Chief Minister Chouhan said that work is being done on special projects in the fields of tourism, industrial development, environment, education, health, agriculture and energy in Madhya Pradesh. Various French companies have shown their interest in the field of industry. Efforts can be made for mutual teaching of French and Hindi in the field of education.
Chief Minister Chouhan told Ambassador Lenin that 660 MW floating solar plant is being set up at Omkareshwar in the state. Efforts have been initiated in the field of natural farming. Initiatives have been taken for the development of 3 World Heritage Sites in the state. In addition to the development of tourism in Khajuraho, Bhimbetka and Sanchi, the state has been recognized in the area of Tiger Reserve. Work has started on the plan to develop Sanchi as the first solar city of the state.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that his meeting with the Ambassador of France, Emmanuel Lenin, should not be an informal meeting but should be significant and benefit Madhya Pradesh for which efforts are necessary. The French Ambassador described his visit to Madhya Pradesh as pleasant. He said that he has come to Bhopal for the first time and the city is very beautiful.
