Bhopal 06 June 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Jan Abhiyan Parishad plays important and leading role in laying a network of voluntary organizations to provide better services in the field of social service. The team of the Parishad works with dedication, passion and a sense of mission. The Parishad officials should continue this passion. The Parishad should also provide a platform to those institutions who are willing to do service work in various fields.

Chief Minister Chouhan was addressing the training workshop of the officers and employees of Jan Abhiyan Parishad under the Samridhi Yojana at Ravindra Bhawan, Bhopal. Participants from across the state attended the workshop. Chief Minister Chouhan inaugurated the workshop by lighting a lamp. Only Jan Abhiyan Parishad can lead institutions

Chief Minister Chouhan has said that good work is being done in the social sector in Madhya Pradesh. Under the guidance of Jan Abhiyan Parishad, the organizations are actively working in the interest of the general public. There was a time when the existence of this Parishad was being questioned. The Parishad is the umbrella of social institutions. This sense of dedication should not be lost. Citizens also have the spirit of social service. They need an authentic institution. Only Jan Abhiyan Parishad can lead the social institutions in a better way.

Work of women self-help groups is no less than a movement

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the work of women self-help groups in the state is no less than any movement. These groups have done remarkable work. There was a time when women in Madhya Pradesh were confined to their role in a family. Today the turnover of self-help groups is of more than Rs 20 thousand crores. Women have progressed economically through the activities of the groups. This has increased their self-confidence level. Women are also cooperating in the campaign of facilitating the Anganwadi kendras.

Social organizations must facilitate anganwadis

Chief Minister Chouhan said that children coming to Anganwadi kendras in Jait village of Sehore district were underweight. After the campaign of providing nutritious food items to these centers with the help of the society, now no child is underweight. The call to collect toys and other materials for the children of Anganwadi centers in the cities of Indore and Bhopal yielded great results. When I moved on the streets with the handcart, within one or two hours, 10 trucks in Bhopal and 40 trucks in Indore were full of essential materials with the help of public. Not only this, people donated Rs one crore 86 lakh in Bhopal and about Rs 6 crore in Indore through cheques. This amount will help in facilitating and beautifying the Anganwadi centres. Handcart should be run in every city and villages also, Anganwadi centers should be supported by getting wheat, gram and moong from farmers. Social organizations act as catalysts. All voluntary organizations must join this important campaign. Work should be done to improve Anganwadi centers by adopting them at individual and institution level.

Call for participation in construction and Jalabhishek campaign of Amrit Sarovar

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given a call for the construction of Amrit Sarovars in every district during the Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. Activities are being conducted in each district of Madhya Pradesh. If voluntary organizations also get involved in such works, it will help in making the Amrit Sarovars a Prerak Sthal. National flags will be hoisted near Amrit Sarovars on Independence Day and Republic Day. Chief Minister Chouhan said that Jalabhishek campaign is also conducted with the participation of citizens. Like Ralegaon Siddhi in Maharashtra, examples can be set in the field of water conservation in Madhya Pradesh too. People’s participation is increasing with the celebration of Gaurav Diwas in cities and villages. Voluntary organizations should also give impetus to tree plantation campaign and Ankur campaign to develop greenery. Saplings should be planted on the occasions of birthdays and marriage anniversaries of family members and in the memory of the departed family members. Organizations can also play an important role in the development of leadership abilities and personality development in children. The Parishad plays an important role in providing benefits to beneficiaries of various schemes. Social organizations should also cooperate in providing employment opportunities to the youth.

Madhya Pradesh is ahead in various fields

Chief Minister Chouhan said that Prime Minister Modi has implemented many innovative schemes. Social organizations should cooperate in the implementation of these schemes. Madhya Pradesh is progressing rapidly in various fields. In the field of education, Madhya Pradesh has jumped from 17th place to 5th position in five years. More than 9 lakh people have got employment opportunities in the state in three months. With public cooperation, good results can be obtained in many fields. Members of social organizations should remember that they not only just exist for themselves, they also exist to serve the country.

Uttarakhand incident was distressing
