Governor confers With the Officers of Four Departments
Bhopal 06 June 2022: Governor Mangubhai Patel said finalize PESA Act rules soon. He instructed to complete the work by defining the time-frame.
Governor Patel was discussing the provisions of the PESA Act with senior officials of the Tribal Cell Raj Bhavan and four other departments. The meeting took place in two sessions. The first session involved discussion of related provisions with Social Justice and Disabled Welfare and Home Departments and the second session with Panchayat and Rural Development and Law & Legislative Affairs Departments.
Governor Mangubhai Patel said that the implementation of PESA Act at ground level is the foundation to build an inclusive society. He said that the work should be completed soon with the spirit of jab jago tabhi sawera (better late than never). Everyone's trust, support and efforts are the basis for this accomplishment.
In both the sessions Tribal Cell President Deepak Khandekar, Principal Secretary to Governor D.P. Ahuja, Tribal Cell Member Secretary BS Jamod and members.
