Chief Minister Chouhan meets Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah

CM invites Union Minister Shah to release cooperative policy of the state
Requested for assistance in anti-Naxal drive in the state
 
Bhopal 13 June 2022: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan met Union Home and Cooperative Minister Amit Shah in Delhi today and discussed in detail about the cooperative policy and anti-Naxal operations of the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan informed that the cooperative policy has been prepared in the state after extensive consultations with the Policy and Planning Commission as well as experts of the cooperatives and other fields. Through the policy, efforts will be made to create employment opportunities in new areas through cooperatives in different sectors, boost the income of the people and organise them. CM Chouhan presented the draft of cooperative policy to Amit Shah. The Chief Minister said that this policy would be duly implemented as soon as the model code of conduct currently in force due to elections of the local bodies is over. CM Chouhan requested Shah to attend the cooperative convention to be organised in Bhopal and issue the cooperative policy of the state.

Chief Minister Chouhan apprised Union Minister Shah about the successes achieved in anti-Naxal operations of Hawk Force in three districts of Madhya Pradesh namely Balaghat, Mandla and Dindori. CM Chouhan said that four additional battalions of central security forces are needed to give more impetus to the anti-Naxal operations in the state.
