CM Chouhan Dedicates Newly Constructed Building of RERA
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that RERA will ensure proper and planned development of cities. Consumers’ interest will be protected. Proper system to redress the complaints will be made. Madhya Pradesh has topped the country in implementing this system. Chouhan was dedicating the newly constructed building of ‘RERA’ (Real Estate Regulatory Authority) today.
President State Consumer Forum Rakesh Saxena, Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, Member RERA Aniruddh Kapale, Representatives of CREDAI, Officers and Citizens were present in the programme.
CM Chouhan mentioned that each person cherish a dream of house in his life. Life time income is invested for house. Problems are being faced by the consumers in many cases. All these problems will be eradicated by the RERA. He hoped that RERA will safeguard consumers’ interest. It will bring an end to problems related to city planning. Chouhan also assured solution to the actual problems of the real estate sector. He further informed that deliberations will be made with builders too.
Chouhan said that first two cities of the country in Swachhata Survekshan are from Madhya Pradesh. 22 cities of the state are among the first 100 clean cities of the country. He mentioned that procedures should be transparent. Cities should be kept clean and remain peaceful. We all are responsible for this. Clean, planned, peaceful, affection and affinity are priority of the government. People disturbing peace will not be tolerated. The state government will deal gently with good people and strict action against culprits will be taken. Anyone try disturbing peace of the city will not be spared.
Mayor Alok Sharma said that Madhya Pradesh is the first state which has implemented this Regulatory Act. Now effective solution of citizens’ problems will be made. Their dreams of house will be fulfilled easily now.
Chairman RERA Antony De Sa termed the state as the leading state for implementing the Act. He said that Madhya Pradesh also tops for preparing institution’s logo. Name in Roman and Devnagri script is included in the logo. Three aims of Authority are being also indicated in the logo. Moreover, he informed that a conference of Act’s stake holders will be conducted soon. Member RERA Dinesh Nayak proposed a vote of thanks.-WTN
