Cash Payment to Farmers on Sale of Agriculture Produces in Mandis Ensured

Directives Issued to Mandis by M.P. State Agriculture Marketing Board
Bhopal: Farmers will receive 50 percent in cash against payment of their agriculture produces in Krishi Upaj Mandis from today in the state, the remaining 50 percent will be paid to them through RTGS/NEFT with the cash payment. Cash payment limit will be as per the prevalent effective Income Tax Act.
Commissioner cum Managing Director Madhya Pradesh Agriculture Marketing Board Rakesh Shrivastava informed that this payment arrangement for farmers has been implemented with immediate effect in all the Mandis of the state. The mandis have been instructed to adhere to directives strictly.
It may be mentioned that Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced about this in the interest of the farmers during his visit to Ujjain on Sunday. The board has ensured implementation of CM’s announcement with immediate effect. -WTN
