School gift scheme to begin, door-to-door survey for admission in Class 1

Chief Minister Chouhan reviews “School chalen hum” campaign  

Bhopal: School gift scheme is being introduced with community participation to provide assistance in kind for academic development and to strengthen physical infrastructure in government schools in state. All schools have been asked to mark their needs. Pranam Pathshala programme will begin to give priority to good schools and to launch the scheme in a new form. For admission to Class 1 there will be a door-to-door survey. This information was given during the review of “School Chalen Hum” campaign 2017. Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today reviewed the campaign at Dussehra Maidan where he was sitting on fast for peace.

Chief Minister gave instructions to adopt every possible method to increase quality in education. It was told at the meeting that registration on portal at “Mil Banche Madhya Pradesh” programme will begin on June 15. Those who are registered previously their renewal will take place on just a click. The registered person will have a dialogue with newly admitted children and inspire them to come to school. Former students of the school will also participate in the programme.

New school management committee has been constituted in all primary and middle schools. The first meeting of the committees will be held simultaneously on July 14 to July 15. Committee meetings will also be held on quality education. Mil Banche programme volunteers, School Gift scheme donors, guardians, senior community members will be invited at the meeting. State and district level programme activities have been given final shape. Outstanding students will be honoured for maximum attendance, studies, games and kahani utsav.

In the school level programme students taking admission in Class 1, 6 and 9 will be welcomed by senior students. The admission will take place ceremoniously. Shiksha Mitra mobile app will be used for regular attendance of teachers.

Information about other group of children able to attend school will be available online.

School Education Minister Kunwar Vijay Shah, Minister of State for School Education Deepak Joshi and senior officers were present at the meeting.-WTN
