Will make Karond the best suburb

Bhopal: Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Cooperatives, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation Vishwas Sarang said that Karond will be made the best suburb. MoS Sarang was speaking during a programme held to start 13 interior road construction in Shanti Nagar, Karond.

Minister of State Sarang said that several development works including setting up of college, drainage, Narmada water supply have been undertaken in Karond and other development works along with road construction has to be undertaken. The area’s development will be carried out in a well-planned manner. Karond will not be anywhere less than other suburbs. He said that the construction of 13 interior roads in Shanti Nagar and Union Carbide locality at a cost of Rs 65 lakhs is commencing from today. The plan of construction of other interior roads in other localities of this area has been prepared. Efforts are being made to begin construction of these roads soon. He said to the citizens of the area that they too should contribute towards cleanliness of the colony.

Earlier today MoS Sarang performed bhoomi-pujan for renovation work school building in ward 44. Local corporator, people’s representatives and elite citizens were present during Sarang’s visit.-WTN
