World Yoga Day to be celebrated in the presence of CM Chouhan

State-level Mass Yoga Programme at Lal Parade Ground on June 21
Bhopal: International Yoga Day will be celebrated on June 21 in Madhya Pradesh. Mass Yoga programme will be organized in the whole state on Yoga Day. State-level Mass Yoga programme will begin from 6.30 am at Lal Parade Ground, Bhopal in the presence of Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan.
Participants will be present at Lal Parade Ground till 6.30 am in the state-level programme. The Madhya Pradesh song will be sung in the presence of guests at 6.40 am. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan’s address will be at 6.45 am. This will be followed by general Yoga exercises from 7 am. The programme will conclude at 8 am.
The district-level Yoga programme will be held in the presence of the Council of ministers at the district headquarters. For this ministers have been allotted districts. The mass yoga programme is being organized by the School Education Department.
Rehearsal at Lal Parade Ground
A rehearsal of the main programme was held here today at the Lal Parade Ground. Government, non-government, students, Central Reserve Police Force, NCC cadets, Patanjali Yoga Sanstha and other Yoga Sanstha members took part in the rehearsal. The rehearsal was inspected by Commissioner Public Instructions, Neeraj Dubey and Bhopal District Collector Nishant Warwade.
The rehearsal programme at the Lal Parade Ground included neck movements, shoulder movements, kati chalan, knee movements etc. Other asanas practiced were Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Padahastasana,Trikonasana, Bhadrasana, Vajrasana, Shashankasana, Vakrasana, Makarasana, Bhujangasana and other asanas.
