Chief Minister Participates in State Level Yoga Programme
Bhopal: Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan urged citizens to practice yoga daily. Yoga keeps body healthy, brings happiness and makes brain sharp. Chouhan was addressing the State Level programme organized at local Lal Parade ground on the occasion of International Yoga Day.
Mayor Alok Sharma, MLA Shri Rameshwar Sharma, Chief Secretary B.P. Singh, DGP Rishi Kumar Shukla, Students and Citizens in large number practiced yoga with CM Chouhan.
Chouhan mentioned that life has become full of stress and tension in today’s world. Effective way to keep life tensionless is yoga. Make yoga part of life to lead a successful life with positivity. Referring to Swami Vivekanand’s thoughts, he said that human beings possess immense power. Human beings are part of God. Human beings utilize capabilities to its bare minimum. Yoga sharpens internal power of human beings.
Moreover, Chouhan stated that yoga was invented by Bhartiya Rishi Munis thousand years ago. He extended gratitude towards the Prime Minister Narendra Modi for spreading yoga among the people of the world and greeted citizens for the International Yoga Day. Chouhan appealed people to live a joyous life with enthusiasm. Make yoga a part of life for best contribution towards development of country and society. Take resolution for de-addiction. CM Shri Chouhan informed about Medhavi Chhatra Yojana on this occasion. He performed Tadasan, Vrakshasan, Padhastasan, Ardhchakrasan, Trikonasan, Bhadrasan, Vajrasan, Ardh Ushtrasan, Shashkasan, Uttanmandukasan, Vakrasan, Mukrasan, Bhujangasan, Shalbhasan, Setubandhasan, Uttanpadsan, Ardhhalasan, Pavan Muktasan, Shavasan, Kapalbhati, Pranayam, Nadi Shodhan, Anulom Vilom, Shitli and Bhamri Pranayam in the programme.
Madhya Pradesh Gaan was recited and a message of Prime Minister Narendra Modi was broadcasted in the beginning of the programme.-WTN
