CM Chouhan offers wreath at Shaurya Stambh at Shaurya Memorial

Recalls the valour and sacrifice of soldiers on Kargil Vijay Diwas
Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan paid tribute to the martyred soldiers by laying wreath at the Shaurya Stambh at Shaurya Smarak on Kargil Vijay Diwas. Recalling the bravery, indomitable courage and sacrifice of the soldiers, the Chief Minister paid homage on behalf of the people of the state.
In a message to the media at the Shaurya Smarak, Chief Minister Chouhan said, "They were the ones who sacrificed everything to free every inch of our country from enemies, we are proud of them. Atal Bihari Vajpayee was the Prime Minister at that time. Our forces have shown that if anyone raises his eyes towards Mother India, he will not be spared. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, a glorious-prosperous-flourishing and powerful India has been built, India is now a superpower."
Chief Minister Chouhan said that we salute the brave soldiers of the Army, Navy and Air Force engaged in the security of the country's borders. We are proud of our forces and soldiers of the country.
