17 candidates filed 20 nominations on the first day
The nomination process for Madhya Pradesh Assembly Elections 2023 has started from Saturday in all 230 assembly constituencies of the state. Chief Electoral Officer Anupam Rajan said that on October 21, the first day of the nomination process, 17 candidates have submitted 20 nominations.

Rajan said that October 30 will be the last date for filling nomination forms. Nominations will be scrutinized on October 31. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is 2 November. The voting process will be completed in a single phase on November 17 in the entire state. Counting of votes will take place on December 3.
